Line Creek Leader Luncheon

Line Creek Leaders
Monthly Leaders

In Spring 2014, Line Creek was awarded a grant through the Franklin Covey Foundation to begin implementing components of The Leader in Me. The Leader in Me focuses on developing leaders with 21st century skills based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.  It is an innovative, school wide model that enables educators to unleash each child's full potential and prepare them for future successes.

Each grade level is off to a great start this year and students are working on practicing the 7 Habits. The student body voted on a school-wide mission statement, that we recite during the morning announcements:

All Belong. All Learn. All Lead. Lions Succeed.

Classrooms also synergized to develop their own class mission statements. A full gallery of classroom mission statements can be found under "About Our School" in the "The Leader in Me" section.

Line Creek honors one leader from each class for the monthly Leadership Luncheon. This monthly leader is selected by their classroom teacher as someone who models behavior of one of the 7 Habits.
