Mrs. Taneka Collins began her career in Park Hill School District as a School Counselor in 2015. Prior to coming to the Park Hill School District, Mrs. Collins received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services at Columbia College in 2012 and her Masters of Education in Counseling at Stephens College in 2015. Mrs. Collins has worked in various community agencies prior to starting her career in education. She has served as a Community Support Specialist with Burrell Behavior Health working with children and adolescents, an AmeriCorps member, and as an advocate for women of domestic violence.  

When Mrs. Collins is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new foods, and watching Netflix.

Her passion is to ensure that every child understands the greatness they carry within themselves. Mrs. Collins focus is on being more intentional and mindful of the impact she is making in the lives of students, her colleagues, and with family and friends.
