2026–2027 Strategic Plan

Our Goal: Build successful futures for Line Creek students of all backgrounds.

 

At Line Creek Elementary, we are committed to ensuring that every student learns, grows, and feels connected. During the 2026–2027 school year, our work will focus on five strategic priorities.

 

Academic Excellence

We believe every student can achieve high levels of learning with strong instruction and timely support.

Strategies:

• Strengthen Tier 1 classroom instruction through ongoing professional learning.
• Use Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to identify and respond to each student's academic needs.
• Protect daily intervention time for reading and mathematics.
• Utilize Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze student data and plan effective instruction.
• Provide targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions for students needing additional support.

Positive School Culture

We believe students learn best in safe, predictable, and caring environments.

Strategies:

• Implement schoolwide PBIS practices with fidelity.
• Provide professional learning on the PBIS Great 8 classroom practices.
• Clearly define classroom-managed and office-managed behaviors.
• Expand student recognition through schoolwide celebrations and PBIS incentives.
• Strengthen attendance monitoring and interventions.
• Increase Tier 2 support for behavior, attendance, and social-emotional learning.

College, Career, and Life Readiness

Through AVID, we will continue developing students who are organized, collaborative, and goal-oriented learners.

Strategies:

• Continue professional learning in AVID instructional strategies.
• Strengthen implementation of Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR).
• Teach students to set and monitor academic and attendance goals using NWEA and classroom data.

Belonging and Community

We believe every student, family, and staff member should feel welcomed, valued, and connected.

Strategies:

• Continue our DEIB Community Advisory work to strengthen belonging and representation.
• Increase volunteer opportunities for families.
• Expand cultural learning experiences for students and families.
• Celebrate the contributions and successes of our staff.
• Strengthen communication between school and home.

 

Continuous Improvement

We will regularly monitor student achievement, attendance, behavior, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate our progress and make adjustments throughout the school year.
